There is often talk about how great the original Tiki Village Surfers Paradise (Queensland, Australia) was. I know it is still there in some form as a time share resort, but here is some footage from 1967. lt is part of a Seekers TV special…so you are going to have to listen to and watch the Seekers but hey, great rare footage of the pool area. The song is not too bad l guess.

one of the girls stayed there last year and even the staff have no idea why its tiki village one girl thought its was because the owner was from nz , i asked her to take photos but she had no idea what a tiki was
Wow, looks like it was great! Would be awesome if it were restored but the tiki revival doesn’t seem to be hitting Queensland at all
