I had almost forgotten about this short interview with Duke Carter, author of Tiki Quest. I know it’s a few years old now but l consider it to be the best introduction to to Tiki and Tiki mugs you can get. No bull shit just the passion.
I remember reading online once a great quote that went something along the lines of “you are not a true Tiki mug collector until the pages have fallen out of you first copy of TIKI QUEST and you are on your second copy.” Well that’s sort of true…as anyone knows with that book, the binding is really crap, so the pages where gonna fall out anyway…but that’s not the point.
