It&#039;s always tough when you get real tiki-philes in the bar - on one hand you&#039;re glad you get to speak to people who share that common interest, but on the other hand you just know that some of your decor/mug decisions are being judged by people who are potentially way further into some aspects of the subculture than you are :) 

I love how there are &quot;levels&quot; of authenticity and quality within a subculture that is, by its very nature, unauthentic and deliberately fake.</description>

		<description>How do you know if someone is into Tiki? Unless they&#039;re wearing an aloha shirt and carrying around a tiki mug, you have no idea just by looking at them. With a bit of luck we can drag a few out of the woodwork and meet up with some like-minded individuals we wouldnt meet otherwise. I&#039;ll be there, so I look forward to meeting hopefully a few of you, and who knows, this could turn out to be a regular gig.</description>
